Southgate Shopping Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado is an attractive, single-storey 131,600sf neighborhood shopping center on a 13.9 acre site. Built in phases between 1959 and 1984, it was acquired in 1993 by a small group of investors lead by by Anthem. The Center services a trade area of 67,000 households, located within a five mile radius of the property. At the time of acquisition, its anchor tenants were King Soopers, Woolworths and a Standard Oil service station. This property was sold in 1999.
